Hotmail is dead to me

Ever since I got my gmail address, I've sporadically used and even checked my Hotmail email account.  Well, it's dead to me now.  I lost ALLLLL those emails.  I feel like I have no past.  That was my transition to adulthood email account...from college to my first, now defunct career or prison sentence behind a computer.  I'm sad...well, not really.
