The Painted Veil

The Painted Veil...saw it last night and loved it.  Edward Norton is so good and hot.  So I Googled the movie last night.  (Found out he's a uni buddy with Ron Livingston.)  The book is very different from the movie.  ( http://www.amazon.com/Painted-Penguin-Twentieth-Century-Classics/dp/0140185992).  I don't want to give anything away.  The movie seems to end in the middle of the book.  I do want to read the book.  I know that Edward Norton spent 6 years trying to get this movie mad and is also the producer, so I'm sure he was true to the book.
