Waitress

The First Noel and I barely missed the downpour that took place Friday night. The original plan to sit out in the pation at Orso's changed when we couldn't get a table. Reluctantly, took our business to Kamahachi across the street. We both haven't had the best food at this place. Second chance = good. We ate at the sushi bar upstairs. Avoided a neighborhood dirty old man.

Waitress...a movie that didn't deserve more than a 20% tip. It was decent. It teetered along artsy and cheesy. If this was Adrienne Shelly's first, second, or third movie, it's a really good film. And I would see her other movies. Felicity done good as an actress, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I was so annoyed by the uber submissive wife character. Oh jeez, Jeremy Sisto character Earl?! Very convincing as a needy, controlling, pussy of a human piece of garbage. It's funny to think that he's played Jesus in a TV movie.

The First Noel was annoyed by the pies. It was a total chick flick. At the end of the previews we were 1 of 10 hetero-girl couples at the theatre. Seriously, there was no point in changing clothes. We should have just kept pajamas on. And we noticed the one guy in the theatre. Probably on a date. Or a new boyfriend. You can still sucker those newbies to movies like this.
