Interesting article about the shortage of chick flicks. The line that stands out the most is"Even “300,” the abs-and-sandals fanboy’s favorite, enhanced the role of the Spartan queen, Gorgo, to boost the movie’s appeal to women."
I would think a woman would want to see this movie. It's got Rodrigo Santoro...he was in Love Actually, a movie that appeals to women. Ergo, 300 is a total date movie.
